| Have you ever heard that the Roman Catholic Pope will one day be the Antichrist spoken of in the Bible? If you have heard that accusation, did you take it to heart or did you dismiss it? I would like to demonstrate from the scriptures, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that it will not ever happen. You might find it intriguing that I am not Roman Catholic. There are many books, commentaries and web sites claiming the Roman Catholic Pope will one day be the Antichrist. Now there is a book demonstrating from the scriptures why it will never happen. The introduction of the book is offered below. It is available through book stores in paperback. You can purchase it here via links to Amazon or Barns and Nobles or the e-book in Microsoft Reader or Adobe PDF format from Amazon.com. The myth and accusation that the Roman Catholic leader will one day be the Antichrist has its roots in religious misconceptions and lack of Biblical end-time understanding. It has contributed greatly to discord and a lack of unity among millions of Christians that have very powerful common ground in Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary. Please allow this non-denominational author to show how the scriptures clearly demonstrate the Roman Catholic Pope will never become the "Son of Perdition". Come see how much the scripture does have to say about the coming “lawless one” and how his kingdom is being prepared right before our very eyes. Whether we like it or not, the world we live in is moving in the direction of the literal fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. |

Introduction The division and strife that has existed among Christian people over time is astonishing. The unity of faith desired by our Lord seems impossible. Christians worldwide, regardless of their denominational position, have powerful common ground in the cross of Calvary. The walls that divide us are really much weaker than the ties that should bind us together. Most things that Christians disagree on are small issues compared to what we all know in our hearts. The birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ gave Christianity its very existence. Without the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we possess nothing more than vain beliefs and meaningless motions. The New Testament tells us that if Christ has not risen from the grave, our faith is in vain. The purpose of this book is to tear down a long standing concept that has been floating around for a long time. It has hindered unity, created strife and prejudice among Christian people. The idea and accusation that the Roman Catholic Pope will one day be the Antichrist in the last days is a religious misconception and inherited opinion that has been passed down. It has also been fueled by prejudice at times. There is absolutely no Biblical or scriptural basis for this belief. As we search the text, we will see that from a Biblical standpoint it is totally impossible for this man to ever fill the role of the Anti-messiah. With a small amount of research to see what the scriptures really say concerning the last days, it will become clear that this will never happen. We will also see some interesting aspects of the days we are living in regarding end-time Biblical prophecy. We want to demonstrate only what the scriptures say concerning “the Pope not being the Antichrist”. I am not Catholic. I have no secret motivation to defend this Perspective. I do intend to expose this fallacy with no attitude or bias and lift up Jesus Christ at the same time. My hope is that anyone that reads this book will walk away with a greater desire to “walk in love” toward all other people. As we see the shortcomings of this accusation, I hope we all will realize how damaging to our heart and attitudes receiving gossip and non- scriptural accusations can be. To claim this leader will one day be the Anti-Messiah, one “must scrape the bottom” very hard to find maybe one or two verses to twist to suit ones preconceived notions . The usual follow up might say “this seems like this” or “this probably is this.” No real conclusive scriptural evidence of any kind has been produced simply because it does not exist. We will see a multitude of solid, “beyond the shadow of a doubt” biblical passages that will demonstrate it is impossible for the Pope as we know him, to ever fill that role. All we need to do is search the scriptures a little. When I insert an opinion or a probability, I will clearly state that this is “my” opinion only. I desire all readers to clearly separate between the “Biblical proof” of my statements and any secondary opinion I might offer, regarding aspects of the last days. Everything I have ever read concerning the Pontiff being the Antichrist has much assumption and no scriptural support. Some have tried to use past historical accusations and strive to “make it fit” the scripture. That methodology itself creates more questions than answers and still provides no real and solid theological evidence. Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs that wood is to fire as a talebearer is to strife. Where there is no talebearer the strife or “fire” will cease. He also said that the words of a talebearer or gossiper are wounds that go deep into a man’s inner most parts. The wounding of Christian people by each other has endured too long. My desire is to strip away all of the “wood from this fire” so it can hopefully be permanently extinguished. I am a non-denominational Christian writing to all to encourage you to obey God’s commandments, to love one another and forsake non- scriptural rumor and accusations. The Apostle John in his wonderful, first epistle clearly told us if we do not love our brother, it is impossible to love God. Love is not boastful or proud, and it does not embrace slander or prejudice. Love believes the best. It has been said often that our lives may demonstrate the only “Jesus” many people will ever see because Jesus lives within us. How can we ever demonstrate the love of God to a lost and dying civilization when we are busy demeaning each other. Let us forsake our small differences and many excuses to disagree, and choose to exist in the thirteenth chapter of first Corinthians. As the Apostle Paul said, “though I have the gift of prophecy and all knowledge and faith to move mountains but have not love I am nothing.” Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. (Proverbs 26:20-22) |

| Would you like a great theological laugh? If one believes the Pope will be the Antichrist and they also believe the Catholic Church to be Mystery Babylon (The Great Harlot) of Revelation chapter 17, then what they basically yet unknowingly believe is that the Pope will destroy his own Church. WHY? Because the 10 kings of Revelation 17 & 18 that destroy Mystery Babylon are the same 10 kings (10 horns) of Daniel chapter 7 that the “little horn” (Antichrist) rises to power through. They are obviously somewhat together and of the same "heart and soul". What tremendous discredit for anyone that could promote such a thing. |
