Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name,

given to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by the
New Age in an attempt to convince people He was
not divine. New Age ideas are even gaining a
foothold in some churches. While New Age
theology teaches a "different Jesus and another
gospel", the deception of it even has some people
that call themselves Christians paying attention.

vulnerable. Only God`s mighty word in your heart
and mind can expose Satan`s lies.

movement. It is essentially a collection of eastern-
influenced metaphysical ideologies, a mixture of
theologies and philosophies that are bound
together by “universal tolerance” and moral
relativism. The New Age thought is somewhat a
progression of humanism. It teaches that humans
have evolved biologically, and must now evolve
spiritually.
It claims we are all "divine", some are just more
aware of it than others. Beyond that, it is difficult
to define, as there is no hierarchy, doctrine,
creed, or membership. Man is the central figure.
He is viewed as divine, and progressing toward a
kind of godhood, or “Christ-Consciousness”.
Many divisions are pantheistic in that they
believe God is in everything, and everything
together makes up God. Therefore, as a part of
nature, man is part of God. Many New Age
practices are designed to push man through the
spiritual evolution to godhood. Astrology, (not
astronomy), Tarot Card readings, palm readings,
Astral projection (training your soul to have out-
of-body experiences), contacting spirit guides,
and using crystals to purify your mind’s energy
systems are among some of these practices. Many
New Agers believe in reincarnation.
Some New Age terms you may hear are: holistic,
synergistic, unity, oneness, harmony,
transformation, personal growth, human
potential, awakening, networking, energy,
cleansing, and consciousness. A large amount of
New Age books contain the word “self”. That is
because, in repetition, man is the central figure.
One must improve one’s “self” to become one
with nature and god. You may also hear New Age
followers using Christian terms. This is because
they view Jesus as a man who excelled at
spiritual evolution and progression, and was
tuned into his “Christ Consciousness.” Please be
fully aware, the Christian terms you will hear will
have a different meaning to someone into the
New Age than they will for you. Their definitions
for most spiritual terminology are quite different
that a Biblically based definition of the same word.
New Age philosophy is that "we are divine" and
salvation comes from the "god within". Any Bible
you use is in direct opposition to this. The claim by
New Age thinking that Jesus Christ was just
another representation (of many) of the “christ
consciousness” was destroyed by the words of
Jesus himself. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth
and the life, NO man goes to the father but by
me”. For Jesus to fit the New Age definition of
“Christ”, he would have had to lie in the Gospels.
Then, how could he be a liar and even fit into
their picture of an “ascending master of wisdom”?
Would the New Age Movement, Buddhists or
Krishna’s receive a lunatic or liar as one of their
leaders? New Age Theology is seriously flawed
right from the get-go. You can’t have it both ways.
The scriptures will not permit it. If Jesus Christ is
not who he said he is and the Bible is not true,
then every aspect of Christianity is in vain. The
birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
gave Christianity its very existence.
One of the biggest possible attractions of the New
Age Movement is the freedom it provides from
personal accountability and responsibility. Moral
Relativism says that there is no such thing as right
or wrong. Each person, in their effort to achieve
oneness, must travel their own path and make
their own decisions, and those decisions are never
wrong, if they are not wrong in that person’s own
mind.
SCRIPTURE IS THE ETERNAL STANDARD OF TRUTH.
1) ) Jesus of Nazareth and the Christ are not one
and the same person. This is a most difficult claim
for many Christians to accept in connection with
New Age thought.
2) The New Age Movement is not a new religion
but teaches the art of Self-realization, which is
neither an ideology nor a religion, but benefits
people of all religions and those who have none.
3) God is all and all is God. He is part of creation,
as are all of us. Therefore, as a part of nature,
man is part of God.
4) There is no sin, only misunderstanding of truth.
Man saves himself by becoming "Christ
conscience.".
5) New Age thought has not come to create
followers. Each of you should continue to develop
within your own religious tradition.
6) The problems of mankind are real but solvable.
The solution lies within your grasp.
1) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the
Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed
art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath
not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is
in heaven. Matthew 16:15-17
2) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by me. John 14:6
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will
come after me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24
3) For the invisible things of him from the creation
of the world are clearly seen, being understood by
the things that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified
him not as God, neither were thankful; but
became vain in their imaginations, and their
foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became
fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible
God into an image made like to corruptible man,
and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping
things. Wherefore God also gave them up to
uncleanness through the lusts of their own
hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between
themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a
lie, and worshipped and served the creature more
than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Ascending Masters and teachers. As you read this,
some are already preforming signs, wonders and
miracles. There is a man that has been "showing up"
in Europe, Africa, and many other countries since the
late 80`s. He teaches the basic New Age philosophy
and has great "light miracles" that follow him.
Crosses and circles of light appearing on buildings
and windows is common. Water is alleged to be
magnetized and given healing properties by him. An
image of his hand appears in windows and mirrors.
The very fulfillment of the above scripture, Matthew
24: 22-26 is taking place NOW. The first and main test
of any spiritual message is this: Are people being
pointed to the cross of Calvary and the blood of
Jesus Christ for their salvation and forgiveness of
sins? "Who is the liar? It is the man that denies that
Jesus is THE Christ." 1John 2:22
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural
affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors,
heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a FORM of godliness, but
DENYING the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and
lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, EVER LEARNING, and NEVER
able to come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so
do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 2 Timothy 3:1-8
